The team consisted of myself (Marquise Francis) as the producer, Callan Gray as the anchor, Andrew Kanell as the recorded reporter and Daniel Grossman as the live reporter. Our rundown and newscast has a local theme and one focused around specific recent incidents in the Syracuse local area.

A1 - Our lead highlighted the 25th Congressional Race, Centro bus cuts and Special Olympics because these were the most important stories and the stories that came across best to listeners in how they would be affected. In the race, the outcome would affect their new rules and laws, bus cuts affects their transportation and Special Olympics coming next year will be a big deal for the city and will be taking place all over in numerous places.

A2 - The absentee ballot story was a great one to start off with because after a week of voting, ballots are still being counted up. This is most important story right now affecting the most amount of people coming out of this most recent week of elections. The 25th Congressional Race between Ann Marie Buerkle and Dan Maffei has is still yet to be announced. Dan Grossman did a great live wrap on this and he talked to Public information officer for the board Jon Concklin and campaign member Liza Lowry, compiling great audio with both individuals.

A3 - Trying to slide along with politics and continue with local I went with a story on New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's daughter Georgina. She was competing in an equestrian tournament in Syracuse when she fell off of her horse. She sustained multiple injuries. This was a great combination of local and politics a bit and was an easy reader following a wrap.

A4 - The next story stayed local and had to do with more children. This time with the Special Olympics that is coming to Syracuse in 2011. This was an anchor actuality done by Callan Gray. She spoke to the Director of Competitions, Bryan Norris and the story was about the reasons why Syracuse was chosen for the big event and how many people are expected to come. This was a great wrap and stayed local and light.

A5 - The next story was another wrap, but this time a recorded wrap by Andrew. It was done on the Centro bus company and its lack of funding. Andrew spoke to Marketing Director Steve Koegel and asked who would be affected and how much. This flowed next because it stayed local and was a story about transportation and how it would affect the community and greatest amount of people.

A6 - The next story was reader also to do with vehicles. This was the most recent incident that occured this morning of a woman who was injured. She was injured in a one-vehicle crash involving a turned over car. This flowed into a local slightly breaking news piece.

A7 - The next story was Callan's anchor actuality national story. It covered the Federal Trade Comission enacting new regulations to allow internet users to tell online advertisers where or not to be tracked. She used an ABC Newscall audio. This flowed with from local to national with a technology driven piece from a vehicle accident.

A8 - This was a crime rise statistic reader that revealed the rise in New York rates. The statistics were gathered from the wire and this was a nice reader to end the A block with, but also was a good reader to lead into another reader if needed about crime. It had dual purpose and was productive

A9 - The tease led into weather and Syracuse Univeristy's sold-out hip-hop concert.

B1 - The tease was a reader about Syracuse's hip-hop concert a month away that already sold out within three hours of the tickets' release. Students walked away dismayed, frustrated and annoyed that they could not get their own hands on a ticket. This was a light story that flowed well into the weather and especially local for the local Syracuse University community.

B2 - I included current weather, today's high and lows and a five day forecast. We were able to get to the current and today and tonight highs and lows.

B3 - Music and close went well and we definintely ended on time and it was a great newscast.

Z1-3 - I included three floaters just in case and we did not need to use them, but I had them for precaution.
